Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Confirms Participation at Fakuma 2026 with a Clear Focus on All Electric Solutions

Two IntElect machines to demonstrate efficient, connected production concepts at the joint booth in hall B1 booth 1103

Sumitomo (SHI) Demag has confirmed its participation at Fakuma 2026 and will present a focused exhibition concept built on strong partnerships. In close coordination with trade fair organiser Schall, an integrated joint stand is being developed together with Technotrans and additional system and technology partners. The concept brings together efficiency, technological clarity and future focus, consistently aligned along the technological process chain and specifically tailored to clearly defined user groups.

Two all‑electric IntElect exhibits take centre stage

At the heart of the presentation will be two all‑electric injection moulding machines from the IntElect series, highlighting Sumitomo (SHI) Demag’s technological expertise across different target markets.

An IntElect 75 will be showcased with a consumer application, realised in collaboration with an extensive partner network covering peripherals and automation. In addition, an IntElect S 280 will illustrate efficient, high‑productivity manufacturing solutions for packaging applications, supported by integrated system partners. With this exhibit concept, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag underlines its consistent commitment to all‑electric machine technology, energy efficiency and connected production concepts.

A sustainable exhibition concept built on partnership

Special thanks go to trade fair organiser Schall. Its openness and flexibility made it possible to realise an exhibition concept that meets both the strategic objectives of Sumitomo (SHI) Demag and the framework conditions of Fakuma. The close cooperation creates a presence with a perspective beyond Fakuma 2026 and underlines the importance of the event as a central European platform for plastics processing.

Statement from Anatol Sattel, CSO

“Our strategic direction is clear: we invest where we create the greatest added value for our customers,” says Anatol Sattel, Chief Sales Officer of Sumitomo (SHI) Demag. “Regional trade fairs, sector‑specific events and interactive customer formats remain key pillars of our European exhibition and event strategy. They enable us to present technological innovations close to the market, in a targeted way and at the right time – efficiently and with direct benefits for users. With our Fakuma presence, we demonstrate how modern exhibition concepts, strong partnerships and technological excellence can be meaningfully combined. We owe the fact that this form of participation is possible largely to our constructive collaboration with the trade show organizer, Schall. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for this.”
